This is actually one of my fave movies...Steve Coogan at his very best...highly recommended, both the movie and the soundtrack, featuring lots of great tracks from Happy Mondays, Joy Division, New Order and the likes...

Not that I know of, it was a just a very dark provactive name. If you watch 24 Hour Party People (fascinating film) you see they actually had a lot of Nazi punks turn up to their gigs, who they'd usually help beat the shit of of. Good lads.

Plus if you're looking for the darkest of dark synth, the music that ultimatly gave rise to Industrial, look to Skinny Puppy. You be frightened.

If by sorta similar you mean Dan blatantly ripped off Sisters of Mercy (which he freely admits himself by the way). If you like Breathing Shadow then I don't see how you can dislike Sisters of Mercy. Maybe you need to listen some more.

I listened to a Gary Numan album today called ''Warriors''...holy shit it blows major

You have to understand where the guy was going, sure people had made electronic music before but not the way Numan did. I think he was trying to follow in the steps of Kraftwerk, mimicing sounds of existing things and in corparating them in to his music, ala Kraftwerk's "Autobahn". Ultimatly this would give rise to the likes of Trent Reznor and Alec Empire. Newman's newer stuff is mostly pure Industrial.

It might just not be your thing, the guy is still a genius.
