Please give examples of bands who use this style and then I's might be able to answer your question.

I don't know any of those bands but they say they're metalcore.

More well known metalcore bands: Converge, Coalesce, Cave In (Pre-sellout) Hatebreed, Snapcase, Will Haven, Darkest Hour, Zao, a few others.

Haven't heard of any of the bands (well, maybe Hatebreed, but I's heard any of their songs).
Anymore examples or should I's just saves time and says: "Yes. It is as evil as nu-metal"? Or is that evil or just plain bad? There is a ya'll knows.
