a really dumb question

so a couple of weeks ago some dude was asking about a couple different bands, a lot of them seemed like theend bands, but there was one in particular that everyone started raving about that they said sounded like opeth but maybe more folksy and heavy...

anyone remember who this bands was??

could have been that new band "The Provenance" They are really folksy, but then they toss out parts that are as heavy if not heavier than Opeth at times.

They are a completely different entity, and Haughm hates being compared to Opeth...

Agalloch is something you should check out if you like Opeth. They're similar to Opeth in the metal/acoustic, clean/death thing. However their music doesnt soud much like Opeths.
