I can't reveal my source cuz she might get in trouble. But someone close to the band told me that opeth minght be supported by porcupine tree on the damnation mellow dates. 
A rumour that could be fact!

I can't really say I'm suprised... what with the very close working and person relationship between the bands. However, if they don't come to Australia on that tour I will be extremely upset!!

Porcupine Tree are obscure as hell, even in the UK. At least Opeth have some kind of large following. My guess though would be that it would be a co-headlining tour.
I'd really enjoy seeing Steven playing some keyboards and guitar with Opeth on tour. That would be amazing. Steven Wilson is the man! I have every PT album, Bass Communion II, and 4 No-Man CDs. I'm not going to get my hopes up about PT touring with Opeth in the U.S., however. I'm still upset about Opeth, Katatonia, and Novembre on tour together in Europe, but not the U.S. a while back!

OMG ...i was just thinking about that like an hour ago ... while walking home and listening to "To Bid You Farewell" i was thinking "Now why on earth wouldn't Opeth tour with PT with the mellow tour???"
