A rumour that could be fact!

I've never actually SEEN them live (downside of living in the arse of the Earth), but from the bootlegs I have, they sound AMAZING. Perhaps the only bad thing about it is the lack of keyboards filling out the music, and the lack of layered vocals because it's mainly just Steven. Other than that, they're tight as hell.

I hope not, Porcupine Tree are possibly the worst LIVE band i've seen EVER. yuk, boring, dull, no bite, it felt like listening to the cds, only worse, much worse, very dissapointed with their live show./forum/images/smilies/frown.gif

Yazdi you fiend!!!

Boring? Ok, they didn't move about on stage that much, but come on, thats going a bit far! I thought they were excelent at Shepherds bush, I even had a headbang to "Blackest Eyes" and Wedding Nails".

In a way, they got me psyched up for Opeth too :)

I thought the sound was great and the songs were played well, it doesnt matter to me what the band did really, that didnt make a difference, it just felt like they were going through the motions, there was no kick, or bite in them. okay, i wouldnt call them the worst live band, but most dissapointing would be a better word. i like the band a lot, and was looking forward to the gig for months, it just felt like an anti-climax. oh and i was very dissapointed they didnt play Trains, i mean, how can they not play it.
