Oh, absolutely. The early stuff is way better than the albums that mostly consist of new versions of early songs. I do enjoy the first several proper Pentagram full-lengths but this is just too good.

I like it a lot. It's more raw than First Daze Here but it sounds better than much of First Daze Here Too which has quite a few tracks that almost sound like Bobby is underwater.

I still love their debut but man...Eternal World, Painted Skies, Masque of the Red Death, and Lady of Winter. You can't argue with those results.

Dark Tranquillity - Skydancer

Haven't listened to this in many years,. It is uneven in quality and is a bit of a mess at times, but it's rather endearing. It gives off somewhat of a medieval vibe and is quite a unique and ambitious debut. Would instantly be made better by not featuring the shitty vocals of Friden.
