Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas

Took me the longest of all the Norwegian classics to truly appreciate, but might just be my favourite along with A Blaze in the Northern Sky. Final two tracks peak higher than just about anything in metal. Among the elite.

I now own the first ten albums, after all these recent reissues. (not counting first years of piracy because i dont understand how thats a full length)

Btw, I recommend picking the recent reissues if you can and youre on the fence. I dont really like the whole digipak thing but they sound great and they're packaged really nicely.

It's considered a full length because all the songs are re-recordings, rather than a compilation.

I'm a tape guy as you know, but actually I think my brother is planning to get them so I'll end up using them anyway.
