Unless I am mistaken, Cascadian black metal does not refer to region but to style.

It refers to a region. I've never seen a single band from another part of the country referred to that way until you posted about Falls of Rauros.

I also think that a lot of people ascribe different meanings to the term "atmospheric black metal" based on the other posts here.

Oh and I don't think HBB will like Nox Intempesta but I'd love to be wrong.
