I don't think I've come across any proper fanboys. I used to consier myself a huge fan but I never went over the top and I never claimed Alexi was the best or the faster guitarist because I know he's not.

Actually (Forgive me for saying this), Trivium is actually starting to impress me, guitar wise. I heard their new song Detonation, and Matt's solo had a strong sense of emotion in it. Either that or I was high
Corey (The other guitarist) is a little in the shadows with his playing. He is indeed better than Matt, in just playing faster. But there is just something about Matt's playing that makes me think twice....

HOLY FUCK YES. I liked his screaming/singing combo a lot more. His screaming sounded violent, but I heard some live video and he slaughters his own vogals. Oh yeah, fixed for you.

Trivium is a pretty good band, but the vocals aren't quite to my liking. Most metalcore vocalists aren't.

I was watching that Gutiar World interview again on youtube and there's people saying he's talkign like that 'cause he's on coke. I have no idea but I didn't think they did drugs.
