hmmm......Em Sinfonia would sound good covering a tune from the Serenades/Crestfallen period, same goes for Morgion and November's Doom. Lacrimas Profundere could cover something from Eternity or Alternative 4, Eyes of Fire is another decent sounding band that I suspect has an Anathema influence.

theres far better producers out there than can remix than these chancers, i dont think it would be very cool at all, just a pretentious mess. id go with stevens choice for venetian snares, someone who knows
