The Unrest - Meridian Hour

Its an early mix, got to fix the cymbals quite a bit and spend longer mastering it. What do you reckon?

Hmm.. There´s three tom track, but the midi is programmed for five! I´ve had quite some problems getting a good drum sound by just sounds replacing, and without messing with velocities. Anyone of you gentlemen manage to convert the EZX midi to Superior? Well, I guess the hard way is the best way. It kind of sux that I´m really busy at work, so will not be able to do a new one before this week end :-(

The toms sound fucking good, what did you do?

It is the toms from DFH, actually I dont like those toms that much but they got some great punch. I used the midi file to trigger DFH and since its programmed for five toms DFH was the fastest way to go. Did not mess with any velocity wich is pretty obvious when you listen to the track I will fix some things tonight.

a very quick effort, spent a cpl of hours on it, in nuendo, which ive never used before, gnna gop back to it, theres loadsa stuff i need to fix, toms, snare eq, vox, little guitar bits here and there. lol i mayaswell say the whole thing!ha

alot of automation and leveling etc has still to be done though, just spent like an hour or 90mins on it so far.

btw, all plugins used were the API ones ('cept MH strip that was used on one track (Overheads) and VTAPE on the 2bus and vox in addition to the API)
