it irks me when people like him can only act that way becuase they are in a band. think about this: would somone like maynard, who dresses like a woman on stage, be able to exist in a normal society and hold a real job? no.

There's a fella in my class who I swear has not yet gone a day without felating Maynard for all he's worth. It gets realy tiring, hearing about the man's exploits, habits and upbringing, especialy from "a fan". You'd think the bloke his fucking biographer.

Hahaha! I'm starting to think the same.
me too

i don't like tool as much as i used to; their albums have too many filler tracks...i get about halfway through and then i get fed up and have to start skipping tracks, i don't like that

I have zero tolerance for Tool anymore because (kinda sad because i really liked Aenima when it came out)
- they have lost all touch with reality and are not far from the realm of Wacko Jacko in terms of ego.
- they are the epitome of "over-rated"; ive never seen so much fare for what has become essentially a radio rock band.
- their writing relies on the gimmick of "cool noises" which masks glorified power chord rock.
- Maynard has a whiny, shit voice, and is so fucking gay. :)

THE END

I have to say me too again.
Oh, and yeah, my mom listens to Opeth (ok, only Damnation, she hates growls and everytime I listen some of my records she had wanted to abort me instead of all that noises in my room and also I when I sing :tickled: )

But I still think that Maynard has a great voice (since Justin said the opposite) Why don't you like it?

That guy is in my class too, funny guy, thinks that Maynard is a Demi-god at very least. I like Tool, but this guy is a little over the top. Amusing though. Maybe I should tell him Maynard mimes...
