Anthrax.com and the reunion

What's happening with the official website? "Create-Destroy"?? What's that all about? Also, on another note - after everything Scott's said about Joey over the years (and recently) how the fuck can he do a tour with him in the band again?
I love Joey's vocals, but this all seems either a)very strange, or b) a total sell out of Metallica-like proportions.

That's what I was thinking, I mean, how can these guys ride the same tour bus? The WCFYA Anthrax are pretty good friends, but not the ATL era.

Maybe they'll do what a lot of these reunion bands do - have a seperate tour bus for each member and only see each other onstage.
What's the fuckin point though. I wouldn't mind another Joey album, but if Scott hates him as much as he's said, what kind of satisfaction does he get out of this reunion? They surely don't need the money that much, and, apparently, most fans don't want it.
I'll say one thing though - I think it'd be great to get Dan Spitz back in the band. I really think the band have missed having a settled lead guitarist since Spitz left, and there's no question he added a lot with his leadwork on the "classic" albums.
But then, people were calling him all sorts of names, so why would he even want to rejoin?
Meh, it makes NO sense UNLESS it's all for money. Which makes no sense to me!!

Alot of bands live together while making records, and arent friends--good example Dave Mustaine and Metallica they had to wake Dave up to boot him out

Dude I can honestly say other than about three or four whack jobs where I work, I get along with EVERYONE. I'm the mediator most of the time. I coordinate the staff get togethers, and all the shit. I love people man!

I understand that, but on the other hand I guess...being on tour might be the most demanding job, both physically and psychically...cabin fever and all that stuff.

I don't know, man. Metallica is kind of like the poster children for the work "sellout."


Don't get me wrong I used to listen to Metallica every damn day, but after all this tin can drum gospell singing Fuzzy guitar some kind of bullshit started during the load era, I had to hang up my coat. If anthrax does a reunion just to make some money, they still have some catching up to do before they reach the level of Metallica. I'm gonna go invisision myself taking a bat to Lars's face, pardon me.

Are you kidding? Metallica are the biggest sellouts going, hell Lars is a bigger sellout as an individual than the whole of Anthrax. Did you forget Load, Re-Load, St. Anger, Garage Days Re-re-rerevisited(or what ever its called)

well that´s the different case because....Metallica just went another direction musically. And I can tell you I hate this fucking pile of shit called St. Anger. But if the reunion thing is true, Anthrax is doing something which is lot worse, in my humble opinion.

I think he meant that they all love each other. That's what I was thinking. Scott and Charlie have been together since the beginning, and it seemed to me like they like each other a lot, and clearly Scott gets along with John. I don't know very much about how much they like each other, but I don't think they hold any resentment at all.
