According to the House of Blues and Clear Channel web sites, ANTHRAX have secured the opening slot at the following JUDAS PRIEST dates in September/October:

Sep. 24 - Burgettstown, PA - Post-Gazette Pavilion
Oct. 12 - Montreal, QC – Bell Centre
Oct. 14 - Ottawa, ONT - WordPerfect Theatre - Corel Center
Oct. 15 - London, ONT - RBC Theatre - John Labatt Centre

It is not presently clear if ANTHRAX will be the providing support at all of the shows on JUDAS PRIEST's upcoming North American tour.

As previously reported, ANTHRAX will be issuing a two-CD collection of classic studio recordings, entitled "Anthrology: No Hit Wonders (1985-1991)", on September 20. Also scheduled for release is a separate a live concert CD, "Alive 2", recorded earlier this summer on the band's reunion tour.

If you pre-order "Anthrology: No Hit Wonders (1985-1991)" and "Alive 2" now, you will receive a a free t-shirt, just like the band wear on stage. You also qualify to win a Scott Ian guitar and get your demo heard by ANTHRAX.

hmmmmm...seems strange I am getting this info from Blabbermouth instead of thge fan club I paid for.

* All exclusive Anthrax shit (bootlegs, demos, commercial tracks, videos, Scott's Alphamail, Charlie's Blast Beat, pre-orders, contests, exclusive merch, news before anyone else including Blabbermouth, and shit you've never seen!)

Once again, we cannot announce info that is not ours to announce. Priest has to do it. If the ticket agancy's and promoters announce, we can't do anything about it. When it's our tour, you'll hear it first.

Understood. I just was a little taken back last night when I saw the info on BLABBERMOUTH.

I called Ticketmaster earlier and there is no mention of an opening act for Judas Priest in AC yet.

Because the Priest website is really slow at updating things. They couldnt sell tickets for a gig that is not confirmed. Priest will be there for sure. Cross your fingers for Anthrax as well.

Why isn't the September 23rd show listed anywhere? I have a ticket for it but its not even listed on the Judas Priest website or anywhere else.

O.k who's making the flyer? The Poughkeesie show is 45 minutes from my little castle.. And I want this gig sold out.... I don't give a damn if I have to hand out flyers from now till the gig. From now on when Anthrax plays in my backyard rather it be at the midhudson or the Chance I want the place at maximum capacity..

Peekskill in the house....The armpit of westchester county. Home to hookers, crackheads and fuckholes who throw babies out of six story windows and those are the nicer folks. .
