i rather like Khanate, but drone is an aquired taste and if you ask me you ought to know youre going to be in pain after listening to it

there's nothing to be acquired though. it's just not written well. i like other doom/dronish bands, but Khanate just sucks.

and it might be a little less laughable if the vocalist could actually scream.

I also have to big up The Meads of Asphodels "Exhuming The Grave of Yeshua". Its fucked, but really whips a lamas ass to the max!

It is indeed an awesome album.
