How in the world can you call Amstel a crappy beer and then tell us that you drink Coors Light? That's like saying "Starbucks is really nasty coffee, I enjoy drinking the kind at Big Lots with a plain white label and the word 'coffee' in black bold print."

BTW: I find that Amstel is usually a much better tasting beer in America than Heineken because Amstel comes in a brown bottle. Green bottles allow too much light to get in and have a shorter shelf life. In fact, green bottled beer will go bad quicker than clear bottled beer. It's very easy to get a nasty tasting Euro-import if it is in a green bottle. Keep that in mind.

Ok, I'm gonna make a list of the reason to drink Coors Light of Amstel light in no particular order:

1. It's cheaper
2. It tastes smoother
3 It's domestic (support your American product)
4 Most bars carry it.
5 Many bars carry it on draft
6. It's the Silver Bullet !

Oh, and I think Starbucks is over rated and over priced. There are so many better places to drink coffee around here. Also, Starbucks coffee beans, alot of them come from Asia. Which I think is a crime because they're better at cultivating tea. They're relatively new at this. The best coffee comes from Columbia and Nicaragua. Oh, and have you ever tried a fine hand rolled cigar from Nicaragua with a piping hot cupajoe from Nicaragua. You'll cream your pants if you did.

1. It's cheaper, yes, but so is Busch and Old Milwaukee, cheaper = shit.
2. Tastes smoother: because of all of the "rocky mountian water"
3. So is Sam's and Pete's and Leinies, drink something better.
4. Most bars carry Amstel too if they are worth a shit.
5. Draft light is somehow superior?? Shit is shit, in a can or on tap.
6. It's only a SIlver Bullet if you drink it from the can, hence the "silver bullet."

Do you know what fucking in a canoe and Coors Light have in common?

THey are both fucking close to water. :)

P.S. I'm very good friends w/ the family that distributes Coors across the state of Ohio, so this is all in good fun. Coors actually makes my favorite beer "Blue Moon" and this same family also distributes Amstel, so it is a win- win baby.
