I just got a few of there cd's and I must say there pretty cool stuff, dont really have any favorite tracks yet but they have some cool riffage and there singer is pretty good

I've got their new cd The Black Halo and I love it! I just can't get enough of Khan's voice.

I've got The Black Halo. Good album! Khan's voice, the drumming and guitar playing are really nice to hear.

I'm not familiar with any of their other stuff, but I think I will check it out later.

EDIT: you'd almost think Khan was an octopus :Spin:

Kamelot is ana wsome Group, I got all their albums, The 1st 2 albums are hard tog et used to, but the rest is really sweet. The Black Halo and Epica are 2 really sweet albums... Roy Khan does have a beautiful voice, he'd be my 2nd favorite singer... Russell Allen being the first :) And James Labrie being the 3rd :)

Great band indeed. Though I know I would be annihilated by some true Kamelot fans IMO their first albums (pre-Khan era) kinda "sucked". But The Fourth Legacy, Karma (it almost sounds like art to me) and The Black Halo are masterpieces. Epica... has its moments too...

Greetings.

I like kamelot a lot. The Shadow of Uther, The Haunting, Temples of Gold, Lunar Sanctum, they have a lot of classics already.and, yeah, uh I guess Khan is pretty good also ;)

Yeh Pre Khan era is hard to get used too,e specially if you started witht he Khan era lol! ... its robably safe to say most Symphony X fans also like Kamlelot somewhat, Khans voice amazes me, his dark, deep, relazing voice, than he turns it into a high pitch, hitting every night between...Pretty fucking sweet!

Epica and The Black Halo are considered classics because how they go together, have you ever listen to them through, 1 after the other... And see how well they do..the connection/continuation! Very good!

Fav kamelot songs...

Wings of Despair
Abandoned
March of Mephisto
THe Haunting (Somewhere in time)

~Of Course many more, just so hard to remember lol~

They should, shouldn't they, because TBH ist the follow up to Epica. It was always planned like this. It's an adaption of Ghoete's Faust. And as Faust has two parts, so thesy perhaps thought, they would also do it in two parts. Or just the running time of one CD was too short... Who knows...

I wasnt expecting these many responses! awesome It took me a little bit to get used to roy's singing (im more into the melodic-death screaming style, then again nightwish is one of my favs) but he is really good! karma is a good album and i cant get enough of the elizabeth trilogy (pt3's opening riff is sick as hell!)
