i personally think they are the best thrash metal band nowadays.
cant wait for their new cd.

I like One Kill Wonder very much, though I have yet to buy it...so they're not really a priority, but I like the album a lot all the same. I have Made Me Do It on the comp too, but though it's been there for ages, for some reason I haven't given it a good listen. It'll happen sometime...as for the debut, which is claimed to be the best by many (usually those who don't like the Aro-era), I'll look into it after Made Me Do It I guess.

In conclusion, good band and I'll be looking forward to hearing more of their stuff, but nothing earth-shattering. Other than in terms of headbang-so-much-the-earth-shatters.

Generic, but likable. I have One Kill Wonder and some mp3 samples from the other album. It's catchy and heavy. I'm with TheFourthHorseman with this.

At The Gates were better though.

Hmmm... Yes and no... As has been mentioned At the Gates were far more interesting (particularly vocally). I find that the Haunted has a particular knack of reshaping the one riff and using it for most of the album. I mean listen to their first album. Play the first ten seconds of the intro riff for every track on the album and you'll see where I'm coming from.

At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul is the album to listen to...
