you mean use it after a track has been recorded, for clarity?
I do like it for live applications, but it does add a bit much on the treble side of things......
Noob alert, 2 seperately recorded takes of guitar with 2 mics, I always thought for some reason if your using that technique you might still record 4 takes with 2 mics each making a total of 8 tracks. 2 takes with 2 mics is still quad tracking due to the tonal variation while being a lot tighter than 1 mic 4 different takes right?
