Apparently the new Metallica album has leaked.

nowadays yes :kickass: up till middle 90's, no! :p

1988 was Metallica's last good album imo.
I never liked black album, and load was...probably the most fitting title for an album I've ever seen. Megadeth during the early 90s was fucking awesome though. Rust in Piece, Countdown, Youthenasia :D.

Too bad they all got stolen :(

However Kill 'em' All - Puppets is some of the best metal ever written :D.

I was too (Pointing at my screen name and Display picture). But I still never liked the 90s stuff. I actually heard of Megadeth when I was 14, downloaded the Mechanix because it was labeled as a Metallica song, then when I looked it up later I was sent to something about Megadeth.

But I think both bands are full of assholes. Mustain being the only person to call security on me for tresspassing at the concert grounds 3 hours after the show... >8(

Killing is my Business...And Business is Good :kickass:
If this album is half as good as St.Anger I'm buying it.

If Its half as good as St. Anger, it makes it Double the piece of shit. If my math is correct. How could anyone appreciate the album St. Anger.

Honestly.

lol dude I was just kidding. I haven't even heard St.Anger except for those singles...

Believe it or not. I NEVER really got into Metallica or felt compelled to. I was always into Zeppelin, Floyd, Ozzy and Sabbath, Rush, Beatles, Hendrix, etc. To me, that music is timeless. I can't see myself not listening to it till the day I die. With Metallica, it never stuck with me. I love a select few of tunes but by no means a big fan.

The terribleness of that album is a serious matter, and should never be taken lightly :p.

That's cause you haven't heard St. Anger. Go download it :kickass:

same to you.
Only I was 1 when Justice came out :p

I was into Ozzy, Sabbath, Zep and Hendrix when I was 8-12 years old :p.
Never really started listening to Rush untill I was 15 though :S.

Now I rarely listen to any of that stuff, except Rush.

Of course, this isn't ALL I listen to. I still like classic rock just as much as the day I was introduced to it. Don't know how to describe my attachment to it. Obviously I have expanded my musical likings since the time I was very young, such as metal, experimental/electronica, blues rock, classical, you name it. As long as it sounds good to me, most likely it will stick. I don't necessarily like going through 100 bands a week. I stick to my bands man!

By the way, I have the first 5 Metallica albums on my computer. I am very familiar with Metallica.

What is wrong with you fags? When I was 8 I didn't even listen to music I played with action figures and played manhunt outside and shit... and when I was twelve I listened to what 12 year olds are supposed to listen to. Like the shit that's on the radio. Pop, Rap, etc... :erk: I usually call bullshit when people say they listened to metal when they were like 10.

haha i used to think that mustaine was a cunt with god complex, but after i saw his interview talking with Lars, in Some Kind Of Monster, i'm totaly on his side now, and Metallica became much more cunts to me :p

Hehe, same here, fan girl though :) But dude, weren't you like 2 yrs old when Justice came out? That is the ultimate fan boy

i got in metallica i was 12, but i got it hard :loco:

(btw, your nickname, you mean Saturnus the planet, or the Band?)

I don't necessarily like going through 100 bands a week. I stick to my bands man!

totaly man, i have albums here that i never heard. but now i try to take a listen to more albums, but back in the day, it was NWOBHM and Bay Area only

That's so fuking tr00.

BTW St. Anger is teh greatest album ever and people who like the MoP-era Metallica should die in a fire. FRANTICTICKTICKTICKTICKTOCK, thats so amazing!

Honestly, I cant stand all those bands.

I was introduced to classical and jazz by my father when I was very young. He values and critiques music like no one else I know, very selective and judgmental  I never liked pop music or whatever nor did I think too much of it. I was introduced to classic rock by my friend's father (who was a hippie pothead back in the day) and since then I always dug the groove and rock feel. I'd say around when I was 10 or so. Don't no, I don't see why it is hard to believe but I never got into the hip-hop and pop culture.

Because it's what normal kids do. If you had friends, you listened to the music. It gave you something to bond over and talk about. Like some 10 year old is gonna know wtf you're talking about if you tell them "Whole Lotta Love" is a good song.

I was forced to listen to metal since the day I was born because I had to share room with my brother and he would put the stereo awfully loud and the entire block could listen, somehow I got used to distorted guitars and screaming vocals and became the monster that I am now :)

I remember being hardc0re into sum41/linkin park, back in da days I was so tr00(12-13yrsold)
