I have to say. this might be the most overhyped garage band I have ever heard. The Nubian Archer sucks. It sounds like these guys just started playing their instruments. The Mob of the Howling is a little better, until the very ameteurish solo. Damn, after hearing you guys hype this band so fucking much, I didn't expect some hack sounding, pud packing mediocrity.

Laugh it up. Anyone who has good taste in death metal can hear Arghoslent is quality. Try and stop deluding yourself over how individual you are; you're not fooling anyone with the macho underground attitude.

Thanks, guys, I've spent quite a while trying to find just a 30 second sample from Arghoslent with no luck (not surprised though, just disappointed). "The Nubian Archer" was pretty good, but "Mob of the Howling" is even sweeter. I was probably going to buy Incorrigible Bigotry anyway just because the cover art kicks outrageous amounts of ass, but now it's definitely on the "to buy" list.

That's what I thought. The sound quality is indeed dire, but the songwriting was wonderful. Definately keeping-up the excellent standards set on Incorrigible Bigotry.

I do listen to Opeth, but I hate Dream Theater. The first riff on Nubian sounds like a tea party. You may like it, I do not. Frankly I couldn't care less.I would rather listen to Millenium or Focus or anything else. Pungent Stench's latest blows this song(Nubian Archer) away, and I am not the biggest Stench fan. Whatever, you listen to what you listen to, I will do likewise. I will buy Incorrigable Bigotry if I can find it. Maybe my opoinion will change.Life Sucks said:
It's a cool song but naming it the best thing to come out all year is ridiculous IMO. As for decent DM, I've only heard one song off the new Chasm album (it's in the post) and it completely destroys this.

You come up with some sound reasoning here. Like I said, this band isn't bad, but it isn't anything to splooge over. I gotta say, I expected something incredible because of the way you guys suck this bands dick, and I literally laughed when I heard The Nubian Archer, and the second song after listening to it a couple more times has not gotten any better. Arghoslent are one of the best bands ever to exsist. AjDeath must either be not thinking straight, or is retarded. Pretty much anybody with ears can hear Arghoslent's greatness, and if they cannot, then they are cargo that needs to be flogged.

It's safe to say I'm thoroughly disappointed with those 2 songs after how good you guys said they were. I think Incorrigible Bigotry is incredible and I love it, but I don't think these songs are even close to that. Despite the fact that I love other Arghoslent stuff, I still think this band is way over-hyped/rated.
Don't get me wrong, these songs are still good, just not as incredible as people are making them out to be.
