Is it really THAT good? Is it worth me investing my time and renting the first season dvd and see if I appreciate it?

I have been told that the reason why it doesn't make sense to me is beacuse I am not familiar with the characters. True?

Is it like a Seinfeld, where it is funnier by knowing the personalities of the characters?

arrested development rules. charlize theron was on it for awhile. but im with adrian, tv sucks and its awfully hard to watch this show on tv. rent it.

i tried to get into it, but couldn't. of course, it took me a while to appreciate Seinfeld, and now i think Seinfeld is the greatest sitcom ever
