EDIT : my bad... actually the price is not way cheaper in Europe... it's even a tad cheaper in the US !!!
On Thomann (one of the cheapest music gear e-store in europe) it runs for 1800€, whereas it runs for 1781€ on Rocksolidamps...
I agree it's a bit pricey compared to a 5150... but if you like the tone...

I'm not saying, the Savage 60 is a bad amp (I had one, too - modded by Peter Diezel. Sold it to Sneapster "FunkyAnimal") - but the 60 is not even close to his "bigger brother". Actually I would say the only similarity of the two is the name
If you want to come close to the Savage-sound without spending a shitload of money I would suggest checking out the ENGL Rackhead 860. It's a full amp in the normal ENGL Poweramp rack-housing (IMHO the 860 preamp is pretty similar to the Savage-pre. Either that OR it's similar to the Blackmore-Amp - I can't remember). I had the Rackhead, too and I really loved it - I loved it so much that I consider buying another one. They go for about 500-600€ on ebay.

I agree with you but it's not so bad. I thought it was "decent" until I found my last settings and actually it sounds very good (I think)...good but different from the savage 120.

Savage is a really dry amp,so if you set the gain at 12o'clock it sounds undergained that a 5150 with the gain at 12.
Actually I have the first gain at 12-1o'clock and the Lead gain at 3-4 o'clock and it adds lot of body to the sound.
