ATL Local Show Reminders

Hey guys, just got word from Kadria - the drummer got arrested on the way to the venue for having an expired license or something like that. So, he's ok, and not sure what status is but I would think they could work through that. *whew*

hey y'all, sorry to have been so quiet on this. Yes, Luke was at the corner of Pleasant Hill & Sweetwater when he got pulled over for a busted taillight. Apparently there are some things on his record that weren't taken care of when he got pulled over, so the poor guy had to spend the night in jail (with a drum kit for company? :p) So `tis good that there were no splattered drummers on the side of 85 amongst the storm debris. I should have more details after tomorrow.

In the meantime, I want to extend an invitation to those who made it out to Sweetwater to see us. We're playing on the 29th (no Patrick, we're not Battling you or ALD) ;) at Three Bears Cafe in Marietta. If you came to the Sweetwater show to see us, email me privately here (pls put your regular email address in there too) and I'll make sure you can get into the Three Bears show as Inviolate's guests. It's the least we can do for people who braved the rain and wind to come support us and we weren't able to give you what you came for!

I'm sorry about your band's recent troubles, but good luck with your next gig!:headbang:

The pleasure was mine. You tolerated my silly dancing with that Scooby Doo band that played second.... so that is saying quite a bit, though that is quite normal for me.
The sound was absolutely horrible for the first two songs ya'll played. I was thinking my days as a 16 year-old playing in a garage band was better than that, then during the third song, I guess the soundman woke up. You guys sounded great after that. I really enjoyed it.
P.S. I am the one who "sicked" Sir Drink-A-Lot on Sean to jabber his ear off after your show due to Sean's "pie" comments at the BBQ place. Although it is very loosely enforced, it is against the law in Alabama to make fun of pie. In fact, I was fined once for the lack of an incapacitated vehicle in my yard.
You rocked brother !! Hope to see you soon again in (or at least near) Alabama.

Hey Stan! Glad you made it out....that was a good time, but we didn't get to settle up with the club until like 3am, so I got home at 6:15....ugh....but we'd do it again! Good to see ya bro.....also thanks to Shaye, Bryant, Mike & Tracie for making the long-ass drive down there!!!!!! =)

Absolutely !! After the sound issues were resolved, they were great !!

PS: Tell the Mrs. she almost has the Alabama beer drinking etiquette (ala straight from the pitcher) down to a "t." However, she needs to remember that you can only use one hand to drink it with. We'll learn 'er right (me an' Shaye)

HW put on a great show in Columbus despite the sound issues. The new song and the new cover tune were both excellent. Sorry we had to miss out on EBS that Friday, but we're looking forward to seeing everybody at Sweetwater this weekend! :headbang:

Tell the news! Spread your friends!

Err, wait. :)

Halcyon Way guys, Clip 5 needs the song title added, so let me know. :)

Those vids sound progressively better as the show goes on because I shifted positions away from an overhanging PA speaker.

I likely can't make it to the GA Mountain Center show at this point, since I'm probably going to have to help friends move. I could normally blow it off, but they're moving right.....here. :saint:  :yow:

You could always drag them out to 3 Bears Cafe to see Inviolate that night. :D

Yes, that's the ticket..... bring them all! That'll be one heck of a welcome to Atlanta! ;) (thanks for the plug, Mike!)

Paul: EbS Clip 4 from Sweetwater is Chaos V

Got it, thanks!

and did you happen to get their new song on video? :kickass:

No, and I reallly wish I had. I was conserving battery power, trying to get at least one clip from each band. (Then Inviolate had to cancel, so I just recorded HW until the bigger non-OEM battery died....and it never did. :))

Nahh, Ripper would scare people away.

Good luck to EbS and ALD at the battle today. I won't be there as I'm on the way to the Bahamas. Mema lives in Gainesville, and as far as I know plans to be there. Keep an eye ot for her.

For those interested, we won the first ever (Annual) Gainesville Battle of the Bands hosted by the Wingmen of North Georgia and the Georgia Death Militia. We won a 500 dollar prize and gained tons of exposure. It was an amazing experience and we want to thank all of you that showed up to see us. Especially Mema!!!
