Attn Doomsday Zach... You Were Right About Cryptopsy...

Yeah I have an opinion so therefore I'm on Roadrunner's payroll. Are you 10?

Sorry RMS, I've tried to rail this thread back into place a few times but no use.. :(

It's okay, when you grow up you will learn about sarcasm some day too, and that ad hominem attacks get you nowhere. In the face of overwhelming evidence and opposition it's admirable your sticking with your argument, amusing but admirable still.

Overwhelming opposition maybe, but evidence? Ummm I've seen none. I'm the only one that put any evidence into this pretty much pointless and ridiculous argument in the first place an all you guys have done is make huge generalizations that encompass a small minority. How about this for evidence: if Blabbermouth was so illegitimate, then how come most people on here (this board) use it whenever delivering news? I'd love to see a tally of the number of times people have used Brave Words or SMN in comparison.

FYI, your previous comment was not sarcasm. It might do you good to actually learn what sarcasm is before you accuse others of not knowing it. This is a really ridiculous argument that should have never even been started.

Blabbermouth is to metal journalism what the New York Times is to.....err....journalism. :)

LOL, so I guess you agree with many of us in the thread. Cool! We can go back to dissing Cryptopsy! :puke:

--You do know the New York Times has become a bit of a laughingstock in the journalism world for exactly the same reasons Blabbermouth gets a lot of shit, right? Articles that are not vetted (i.e., 'fact-checked') by senior editorial staff, etc.?

Heh...like I said, Paul, lots to learn...

I am going to bring this topic back up, because, I have heard the whole disc, and I think it slays. It sounds like Cryptopsy, just with some clean singing in a few spots, and the few songs everybody on here were talking about, they just don't do the rest of the cd justice. Check it out, because it slays, and Flo slays all over it, and it is their best production(the mix is great) to date.

Here's what really kills me. If the entire album had the same vibe as 1:28 and the really AWESOME trippy part at 2:40 into Silence The Tyrants as well as most of the riffs on Leach , this would have not only been a great album, but it would have been up there with None So Vile (perhaps even better). What pisses me off, is that they spend 80% of this album using shitty bree bree vocals and hardcore breakdowns.

When they announced a keyboardist, I was hoping they would take it a very dark and trippy direction (like an album in the vain of Phobophile), but they only briefly explore what I expected and that as I said, kills me.

16 year bump...
