does anyone know what is the special trick to upload an avatar?

Is the browsing thing working?
After you use the browse button to find the file, hit "Open".
Back on the Avatar page, make sure the radio button just above the picture, labeled "yes" is selected.
Then click submit modifications.
Of course, that's probably what you did. So, BEFORE all that, make sure of 2 things:
1) the picture is 100x100 or smaller
2) and the file size is under 15K
If it still doesn't work, post what the error it gives you is...

Ah, that is Gustave Dore, that painting is from Dante's Paradisio, can't remember where I got it from tho, but I think you can find it just by looking for Gustave Dore, he was rather famous in 1800's.
Don't know more than what I read online about him tho.

it is indeed. where else in this world would you find Nature looking like that? It's a birch forest somewhere in Espoo. I saw this pic on a Finland website and had to have it. Next time I visit Finland I will find this place. I wish that was a picture of my back garden

Ok, well that was what I had last time, but before that I had the one that said Salamurhaaja on white on top of it, some dude with a sword infront of his face, can't remember who's image that was, I still have it somewhere tho.
I am Finnish by birth, working in Sweden right now tho. And no, I don't speak swedish if I can avoid it
