Yes, Daughtry has been in my playlists for a long while. I think he's currently the best in the "chick-rock" segment ... and my girlfriend loves it. I asked her why and she said "because it's just blending in perfectly as background music that you can sing along to but doesn't get annoying".
I actually like his stuff, too.
Your best bet would be to get a "best of 2007/2008/2009" pop compilation. The point is to keep some music in the background and not to listen to it.

The Doors bro! Especially the long and windy songs like "The End..." Weird, long, song....but their music exudes the skeet skeet factor for me. Type O Negative! "Christian Woman" just makes me want to skeet. Make sure she isn't too pure, or Peter steele's voice will scare her.

Honestly, you're missing out on a huge demographic by dismissing all modern pop like you do. Not only is a ton of it really good, but chicks are into it. If that's selling out, then oh well..

In my town (really small town grown by the University), there are more than 5K hot chicks (out of a total population of about 15K) between 18-26 y/o.
It's like heaven on earth (we have nursery, dentistry, pharm... and all those careers made for women
) so we must listen to that shit music all the time, and pretend we like it.That's the only way to get some hottie laid, and there's plenty of them to choose!
So if you dislike modern pop, r&b, hip hop and all that... imagine that plus reggaeton, latina, and all in Spanish

I def. wouldn't listen to a lot of the latina, dance music, BUTTTTTTT if you are willing to go to a club and attempt to "dance" (easy to make a fool of myself), it can be quite easy to get laid lol.
Then again, you just need to be confident alpha male for any of this to happen in the first place. Chicks like bad boys and get bored with the preppy dudes after a while.

Wow, this thread exploded - I guess the fundamental thing to make clear is I asked the question from the perspective of already having someone who I'm "compatible" with that I wanna get down with discretely. Experience has taught me that there are tons of attractive girls out there who are deep, intellectual, and most importantly very thoughtful and reflective, and thus similar to me; I don't ask that they listen to the same stuff I do, but damn near every one I've met I can at least respect the music tastes of (usually classic rock, it seems); girls who listen to the most generic and superficial of music I find are often very closed-minded and totally different from me (and thus often very judgmental), and pandering myself to them for the sake of getting my nut off is a truly sickening thought. So I'm willing to just have a good fap and wait for the good ones!
Anyway, this is all pretty OT, but thanks to the guys who gave good suggestions!
