You're right. It gets boring fast, but not as fast as some of the shit people pull out of their arses nowadays.

Am I the only one that finds Nightrage's latest album almost a carbon copy of Clayman? Especially Scything? Otherwise I could recommend: Degradead, which are actually mixed by Bjorn and are co-produced by Jesper. Also try Naildown, another good melodic death, but not quite In Flames. The Wake's first album sounded a bit like IF (Ode to My Misery), Enter My Silence are also good. Other bands that play good melodic death (except the aforementioned) are: Ablaze My Sorrow, Anterior, Chain Collector, Chastisement (a bit more brutal, though), Cipher System (recommended), Dark Lunacy, Disarmonia Mundi, Hollenthon, Mourning Caress, Nightshade, Shadow, Tank (the French guys), The Duskfall (recommended).
