Beautiful passages in death metal

I'll extend the topic to any kind of metal; black, death, folk, whatever.
That said:
Weakling- Dead as Dreams - the beautifully mournful melody that builds up over the first few minutes
Coldworld- Hymn to Eternal Frost - fuck, whenever that choir comes in. Floors me every time.
Agalloch- Falling Snow - the outro

I just wanted to compliment you on your excellent taste. Your three examples are mucho excellente!!! :kickass:

I think Carcass - Heartwork solo's are if not beautifull, atleast very atmospheric.
Also their Child's play has almost like beautifull parts.

Heh, how about Wintersun's Beautifull death? ;)

Again, man, Burden and Hex Omega are NOT Death metal songs AT ALL.

...First one is Blues and the latter is.....Grunge. < : o)

Check out Augury's new album 'Fragmentary Evidence' some really beautiful passages in that.

Especially 'Jupiter to Ignite'

Their debut Concealed had more of the beautiful passages in it than Fragmentary Evidence, though. The song "The Lair of Purity" has beautiful passages for about half the song.

Another worthy mention is Solution .45's song "Clandestinity Now". It has a really nice clean part after about 10 minutes in the song.
