Being motorized for spring/summer

Yeah haha, this bike looks faster than it is obviously, kind of sporty look, what I´d prefer in comparison with an old grandma look or something :) There are a lot of scooter, who looks absolutely boring and simply ugly. This piece is a nice one imo. I´m still not sure, if I get one...damn!

Yeah dude, you should totally do it IMO!

Sorry for being a transformers freak

The bike looks like the symbol to me :)

Well, for cruising around K-town, a scooter comes pretty handy as long as you don't need to move bigger stuff. Also, it's fun. ;)

I had 4 cars and now I mostly use my sofa on wheels two years ago, only advantages from this now my place is a continuous-perpetual jam.

This is my beauty (125 cc), you can store a lot into it also:

Yeah this would be perfect for city and suburbs (where I live). Also reason of maintenance flows in my consideration. I´m a professional musician, I don´t know, if I always be able to earn much money as I do it now. If I would have 15 students less in my guitar school, I couldn´t afford a car with all around. So a sacrifice has to be done. I´m still not sure. It´s a consideration. Thanks for your opinion, Slash :)

kymco, a cheap korean brand. It's basic but bulletproof-certified efficiency in the engine. Everybody's very happy in the forums with this one.

If you had a car before, you will realize the big difference in gas/maintenance (around 4€ a week with daily use). Not to talk about the time you save: no jams, no parking issues, just in front of the door parking. I was spending about half an hour to get to anywhere, now 10 mins. Also another half an hour to find a parking lot (so damn difficult here), now I park in front of the door. Before: 1 hour, now 10 minutes.

And riding a bike is ace!!

People in the US generally don't ride them because they think they are for pussies. They need to make up for thier little weiners by driving Hummers, riced-out Toyotas and Hondas, and 1-ton Hemi Pickups: all of which are hardly purchased out of serving any true purpose otherwise.

OR

 THIS! To be honest, this is my real dream. The disadvantage is, I need a licence for it. My girlfriend kills me. I don´t have one penny for gear in the next years. How would you deceide? In this case, my car plans would be deleted for the moment :D Holy shit, I hate being undecided.

You'd need a license for that, and it looks a lot more expensive (and you couldn't carry as much) - I think a better middle ground for you would be what's called a "Standard" in English speaking countries, a bike that you ride a bit more upright, such as these:

Kawasaki Versys

Suzuki V-strom 650

That second one (yes, that's V-strom ;)) is actually my dream bike, since it's more comfy to ride than a crotch-rocket (you sit more upright, rather than leaning on your wrists), and is available with anti-lock brakes (I am NOT trusting myself on a bike with that much power without 'em! :yow: ) Plus, they both have a lot of luggage stuff available for 'em, so more practical :D (example)

Wow Marcus, this bikes looks pretty awesome as well! This is definitively my dream to ride one of these big Machines. The only question is..WHEN. I would kill me, if I´d die before I ever owned a Motorcycle  What about you, have you the licence? Is it your plan to ride one of these, too?

Yeah dude, I've wanted one for awhile now, and Standards are so cool because they have a bit more practicality than most bikes (mainly because of comfort of the riding position, as well as the storage). I don't have my license yet (hell, I've never even ridden any kind of motorcycle  ) but it's never too late to start! :D
