This is one of the best bands to come out of Austria in my opinion. These guys make Behemoth look like choir boys in comparison. No that I am bashing Behemoth I think they have some great work out there. Buy a copy of Lucifer Incestus NOW!!!!

Fucking awesome, I love Belphegor. My personal fav Belphegor album is their most recent Goatreich - Fleshcult. The upcoming album however, is among my most anticipated albums this year, I can't wait.

I bought Blizzard Beasts today by Immortal because I love that album and I have never gotten around to purchasing the proper release (I've been listening to a dubbed version previously). The relevance to the topic here is that it was a toss up between Blizzard... and Goatriech/Fleshcult by Belphegor, and now I wonder - was my money spent wisely?

I have both albums...but personally, I would have chosen Goatreich - Fleshcult. That, is one killer death metal album.
