Decent into Chaos being my all time favorite. an incredible album. period. it almost gives the feeling of flight, especially when driving stoned. F#@King orgasmic.

Hades and Silent Solitude are as good as it gets.

maybe you missed this

classify all you like, i personally find kalmah worthy of their own classification, kalmah. the same could be said for any real band. (its always harder to walk your own path) genres really dont exist, there just imaginary links created to group music into proper subcatorgies for a consumer.

Nightrage, like Kalmah, have a sound all of their own. and this is why you dont like Nightrage? you cant tell me that their skill and tone arnt respectable.

Yeah, they have At the Gates singer and good players but that doesn't make them good. The first album had like two good songs, the new album on the other is just...blah. Poor riffing, just plain non-inspiring and boring music. This "melodic deathrash" music may have been a new kind of music back in 1995 when At the Gates did it, but now every fucking band does the same thing... even an honest gothenburg-album with loads of guitar harmonics would be more original than a "melodic deathrash" album these days. But I don't automatically hate a band if they play melodic deaththrash...but this Nightrage album is awful. Sorry, it's my opinion, I was just wondering why anyone would think it's the best album ever.

You know, Mors Principium Est, new In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, Omnium Gatherum, Dimension Zero, The Duskfall, The Bereaved and stuff like that. Nightrage isn't even an original band in this unoriginal gategory, just listen to MPE for example. But for me it's all the same..."fukng hevy riffin in the beginning and so so beautiful harmonies in the choruses"....it really gets tedious after you've heard it all. But if you still like this kind of music, then I recommend those bands if you haven't listened to them.
