Impossible to choose. My favorite of the YEAR, however, is Adagio's Underworld. I'm sure this will be in my top ten forever.

Images and Words might be my all-time favorite. The Odyssey is also up there. Impossible to say, though.

wow...ditto exactly....the only thing to add is to the original post....A Pleasant Shade of Gray....paaaaalease!!!!...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..what a snoozzer.......Spectre Within was their best by far!!!!!!

Currently I'm listening to Opeth's Still Life almost every day, so I am tempted to say it's the best ever. Objectivly though, I would go with Iron Maiden's Powerslave. No lame shit on that record.
