I only own the first and last albums, but Hlidskjalf is sublime to the extreme...a very beautiful work of art. My favourite Burzum songs are Jesus' Tod and Dunkelheit, though

Well, I only have two BURZUM albums (not counting Ragnarok), but anyway, I was torn between hvis lyset tar oss and hlidskjalf but hvis lyset takes my vote.

Really depends on my mood though - hlidskjalf works beautifully with all my other "forest" set pieces: Ulver, Empyrium etc, and hvis lyset is much more "threatening".

I used to own Det Som Engang Var and Hvis Lyset...I liked Det Som... a lot more, but found both a chore to sit through. A better, fitting description for this poll would be "least worst".

I only own "Burzum/Aske" and "Hvis..." and while they are both really good, I'd go for "Burzum/Aske". This reminds me, I really need to get more Burzum albums.

I have all of them, except for "Burzum/Aske" which I sold awhile back. The rest I enjoy when I pull them out. I love the packaging of his cds. Misanthropy did well by him.

Favorite would be Filosofem. Sorry, you just can't beat the feel of "Dunkelheit" and I would have to agree with Black Winter Day in that in regards to Burzum, Dreamlord's opinion is shitty... as he is talking out of his ass!!!!
