Best Concept Album?

God Was Created is hilarious. Practically a joke.

Human Equation wins in any case, IMO.

'BE' has more musical depth than The Human Equation. An example for me of how having musical theory knowledge beats not having it in the end.

This thread will probably be closed soon enough. But I'd still like to plug the philosophy forum. The forum ID is 356, so you're basically three keys away. Right now there are only five or so people there.

To stay on topic: Scenes From a Memory, or My Arms, Your Hearse by Opeth.

King Diamond-Abigial,Conspiracy,Abigail 2.
Vehemence-God Was Created(if this album was not so god damn hilarious and fantasy based I'd hate it) She Never Noticed Me is classic.
Nightwish-Once(I guess this is a concept)
Edge of Sanity-Crimson 2

Agalloch - The Mantle

i'm not saying it's the best, but it deserves a mention! sounds like it has a concept of nature vs. urbanism to me. obviously there's more to it than that, but it does sound like an underlying concept ties it all together.

SSOASS is so a concept album.

One of my favorites, along with:

Operation: Mindcrime
Still Life
Abigail
Obsolete
De-Loused in the Comatorium
Pleasant Shade of Gray

The Satanic Warmaster / Clandestine Blaze split has 4 collaboratory tracks.

Stormwatch: You acknowledge that it's a troll, but then proceed to respond as if you got trolled anyway? Good job

You agree it's a troll, then proceed to respond as if you got trolled also?

Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son is not a concept album.

Sorry dude, but it is. The songs are all lyrically tied together by the story of a prophet who tries unsuccessfully to warn a village of an impending holocaust.
