My favorite live album, personally, is CoB's Tokyo Warhearts. The band has a lot of live energy, and they put on a near perfect show on that disc.

Though it's not metal, my favorite live album of all time is Nirvana's Unplugged. Pure gold from top to bottom, not to mention the calm approach to the set was so different from what people were used to with them.

Though the band Live's Throwing Copper is better than any live album, ever.
