Soulfy's Enslaved - death metal??? The track World Scum maybe has elements, but the record as a whole is nothing like DM!!! There's far too much groove for it to be death metal.

I agree. Max even says this album is more death metal.. but I don't hear much death metal in it.

I love death metal but Enslaved is definitely not death metal.

Obituary has more , much more grove than this Enslaved Soulfly Album and the most of the pople think Obituary is a classical Death Metal Band.

New prong is great! I have been a long time prong fan. I even love the Power of the Damager and the remix one Power of the Damn Mixxer.

The only prong album I don't listen to that often is Scorpio Rising as its production is pretty terrible and the songs are kind of uninspired.

New Overkill is okay, but not as good as their last one IMO.

Not really metal, more rock, but really impressed with the new Van Halen and eagerly anticipating the new Rush - Headlong Flight is a monster.

Yeah I have it on high rotation here - it's really good. I loved Retribution too, but the one before that Threads of Life was terrible imo.

Retribution had some good moments but I didnt really like it that much. Everyone can pretty much agree Threads of Life was bad lol.

Yeah really looking forward to those 2 - Kreator especially.

I've been jamming Lamb of God's Resolution a lot again lately and for me that's still - along with Soulfly - the best record so far of 2012. Really solid record right there.

I've only heard one full song and bits and pieces of the other tracks but it sounds like they're trying to make a modern day Demanufacture and I think they've succeeded for the most part. I don't think it's going to be better than Mechanize though...

Hordes of Chaos was so incredible, it's hard to top. I haven't listened to anything but the Iron Maiden cover and the album title song. I loved those, but admit I liked more the Hordes of Chaos title song. Haven't listened to this, but I'll surely purchase it soon!

It will probably be the best Metal record of the year, but I am pretty much biased in Kreator's direction, and so many people are somehow irked by them. Incredible band, and am so glad that they are still around to this day. Hope it has plenty of fast thrash stuff.
