Best My Dying Bride album?

Which do you think is the best My Dying Bride album.
I can't choose, now im listening to The Dreadful Hours, it's really good.

I like them all, but if I had to choose one, it would probably be Like Gods Of The Sun.

I also like the slightly new direction taken on Dreadful Hours CD, expands the music pallette while still keeping intact the sorrow, despair, doom etc.

If you prefer the old dirge like heavy doom style Release the Swans would be their finest effort, it can be very powerful in small doses but becomes a boring after a while becuase of the limited style.

"as the flower withers" is easliy thier best, thier clean vocals middel era is awful imO, but gald they got back to thier roots with "light at the end of the world" and "The dreadful hours"

"37,888% complete" was fucking awful.

Turn Loose The Swans. That and As The Flower Withers are the only MDB albums I like.

"34.788% Complete" is the only one I own unfortunately. But I have heard many tracks from "Turn Loose the Swans" thanks to Launch.com, and all the songs rock.

I know I'm in the minority, and 34.788% Complete is not their best album by a long shot, but there are a few really awesome songs on it. Base Level Erotica and The Stance of Evander Sinoue are pretty damn good IMO.

I'd say The Dreadful Hours is my favourite, purely for the fact that it encompasses so many of MDB's previous styles and puts them together to make one great new sound.

As The Flower Withers is my all time fav ...Bride cd, but 34.788% complete would be my second fav release. But they all fucking rule in their own little way. They are yet to dissapoint me.

I personally think that almost every MDB album is very good.

Maybe the best doom-death metal band. \m/
