My faves are:
Kari Bremnes - "Løsrivelse"

Kari Bremnes - "Live"
Kate Bush - "The Dreaming"
Tactile Gemma - "Tactile Gemma"
Gåte - "Iselilja"
Lill Lindfors - "Ett liv"
Vas - "In The Garden Of Souls"
Dead Can Dance - "Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun"

I have countless that lead up to 1999.

But the best album since 2000 has been Interpol-Turn On The Bright Lights. Dont take this has a fan boy comment. Nothing has beat it. I will in fact upload it for some people if they want to hear it.

Let It Enfold You - Senses Fail

i dont understand when people make comments about bands like Senses Fail has being amazing. Their music does not have any depth at all.

These are my favourite non-metal albums.

Ulver - Perdition City (rest of the discography after this one, black metal albums excluded)
Perdition is one greatest album I've ever heard. Very strong atmosphere, almost dangerous listened while walking in city streets at rush hour (I have tested).

Tenhi - Väre
Deep and dark folkish ambient music. Inspires me alot, but I think Maaäet would be even better, I haven't just bought it yet.

Yann Tiersen - Amelie Soundtrack
The Crash - Comfort Deluxe
The Crash - Wildlife
Finntroll - Visor om Slutet
Samael - Era One
Forgotten Sunrise - Ru: Mipu: Dus
...

King Crimson ~ In the Court of the Crimson King
Van der Graaf Generator ~ Godbluff
Wire ~ Pink Flag
Bad Religion ~ Against the Grain
Dead Can Dance ~ Spleen & Ideal
Joy Division ~ Substance
Jethro Tull ~ Aqualung
Pink Floyd ~ Dark Side of the Moon

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance
Clutch - The Elephant Riders
Boards of Canada - The Campfire Headphase

Ludovico Einaudi - Divenire

Providing hardcore/grind/crust isn't being lumped with metal then:

Martyrdöd - Martyrdöd
Nasum - Helvete
Blacklisted - We're Unstoppable

I hate how people always say "You can't say a band sucks unless you have listened to all their stuff", no one is going to fucking listen to everything, its just that simple.

You cant say something sucks if you havent heard it.

How can you judge something without even knowing what it is?

thats just being ignorant. T.T

I didn't judge anything, I was just talking about how people say you have to strain your ears and listen to everything a band you don't like made before you can say they suck.

Anyway
