Best Non Metal Albums of All Time.

Ayreon - Into the Electric Castle

A couple of parts are briefly "Metal" but it's 95% modern Prog Rock.

Other albums are...
Holdsworth, Johansson & Johansson - Heavy Machinery
Steve Vai - The Ultra Zone
Urbal Beats 1
Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced
Porcupine Tree - In Absentia

Yeah it was opinion. Hell I used to hate those bands. I used to hate all Rock. I know people that would disagree with everything in this thread.

Genesis - Selling England by the Pound
Bacamarte - Depois Do Fim (FUCKING INSANE PROG!!!! get it)
Le Orme - Felona E Sorona
Estradasphere - Palace of Mirrors

Frank Zappa - ....uh....a lot of em.

I'm a prog fiend.

Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile
Alexisonfire - Alexisonfire
Alexisonfire - Watch Out!
Nirvana - In Utero
Jeff Buckley - Grace

Nice, i would only add to that, the old red hot chili peppers stuff and their californication album. and possibly the split enz, history never repeats, and some hoodoo gurus albums.

Pink Floyd - The Wall or Animals.

Hmmm, I'd say Pink Floyd too but more along the lines of Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here, because although Animals is an amazing album, it's just not as complete as the two I just mentioned. As for The Wall, same thing, although I prefer Animals over it anyways.

Other albums for me are:

The Velvet Underground - Loaded

Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy

Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love

King Crimson - In The Court Of King Crimson

Boston - Boston

and many more
