Best of 2011

Wow, this thread is full of fag music.

I don't know what's so great about that Disma album. Maybe i didn't get it.

I hear you. It’s good, but nothing outstanding really. I think the Necrovorous album is better.

I will make some list later today.

A few seconded and likely some forgotten due to present drunkeness.

Assaulter - Boundless
Black Oath - The Third Aeon
Condenados - A Painful Journey into Nihil
Cruel Force - Under the Sign of the Moon
Negative Plane - Stained Glass Revelations
Vanhelgd - Church of Death
Morbus Chron - Sleepers in the Rift
Heathen Hoof - Rock Crusader
In Solitude - The World. The Flesh. The Devil
Portrait - Crimen Laesae Majestatis Divinae
Corpsessed - The Dagger and The Chalice
Disma - Towards the Megalith
Bastard Priest - Ghouls of the Endless Night
Antichrist - Forbidden World
Witching Hour - Past Midnight
Necros Christos - Doom of the Occult

edit: that said NEW MIDNIGHT WILL CRUSH THEM ALL.

Playground of the Damned is probably my favorite, the rest of the stuff I've liked so far this year has already been posted.

Cheers man. What kind of greatness is Hands of Orlac/Resistance?

Hands of Orlac is cool, though not especially original. Don't be put off by female vocals and flutes, they're very hard rocking, great live band too.

Resistance's new album is quite different to their first, much more progressive thrash than straight out speed/thrash. Simon from Arkham Witch/The Lamp of Thoth does some nice guest vocals.

1. Evile - Five Serpent's Teeth (one of the best new albums for years..)
2. Anthrax - Worship Music
3. Hate Squad - Katharsis
4. Onslaught - Sounds of Violence
5. Destruction - Day of Reckoning
6. Cavalera Conspiracy - Blunt force Trauma
7. Generation Kill - Red, White and Blood
8. Hatesphere - The Great Bludgeoning

It's noticeably more Arab-sounding than their previous work, partially due to part of the above song being in Arabic.
