Best thrash song of all time according to you

nothing german is touching bay area stuff, bitches please.

some favorites off the top of my head.

Megadeth - Good Mourning/Black Friday
Metallica - Disposable Heroes
Forbidden - Infinite
Toxik - Spontaneous
Testament - Over the Wall
Anthrax - Caught in a Mosh

Hmmm. Testament have written some awesome stuff. Forbidden, Metallica, Exhorder, Exodus, Overkill. Way too hard to choose.

This. I can't stand German thrash. It just doesn't do anything for me. Every song sounds the same...to me at least.

this is quite possibly the correct answer.

Yep, classic 'Deth. A few on Rust... too, like Tornado of Souls and Poison Was The Cure.

EDIT: Mustaine's lead at the start of Good Mourning/Black Friday is amazing.

Testament - Over the Wall

That too. As for Anthrax, I'd probably pick Armed and Dangerous. Add some classic Seasons-era Slayer, Annihilator as someone else said, maybe Painkiller-era Priest and it's pretty hard to choose.

Best Belladonna-era Anthrax was this:

When I want to listen to thrash I put on Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, and Annihilator. I am not into thrash (most of it sounds the same anyways) but those bands are the best in that genre and really stand out from the others.
