Suspect took head to party
One of the men charged with a chapel break-in that ended in the desecration of several bodies awaiting cremation took a severed human head from the crime scene away with him as a trophy and showed it to friends at a party.
The 26-year-old, one of four black metal enthusiasts arrested in connection with the gruesome crime, boasted to friends that he had a decapitated head in a plastic bag, hidden in the cellar, newspaper Dagbladet reports.
The man eventually produced an older man's head from a bag in order to convince his skeptical pals.
The 26-year-old, also known as "Illvastar", is believed to be chiefly responsible for the crime. He was thrown out of the black metal band Svartahrid three years ago.
