The melody in his growl and their music...the haunting guitar in the background during the first verses...the clear vocals that take over...then the great powerful ending....awesome song...like I say,

"Some people just don't get it."

yeah, i think everyone wants this song to be played live, its great, but then all the songs on the album are. i love the way the clean vocals come in at the end.

but what about the funeral portrait, so intense and one of my favourite beginning few minuted to a song.

Great acoustical beginning...I wish that into would of lasted longer. This was not one of my favorites when I first started listening to the cd, but the more I listened, the more I enjoyed it.

And I am finding that every song is becoming my favorite at least one time or another.

Certainly my favourite track from Blackwater....

An enigmatic song emphasising genius with each note.

"Some people just don't get it."

Its not that i dont get it, theres really nothing new with that song that Opeth didnt do before. I really love the song, and its sometihng refreshing to hear from them. But I think Bleak offers more of the same. Which is a shame, because I know that they can do more then repeat themselves. They should begin to work on a new way of laying out the riffs in their songs and such. Its begining to be repetitive.

NP: Opeth - The Forest Of October sweeps silent when I depart...

You misunderstood me. My quote, "Some people just don't get it" was and is directed towards people who put Opeth down saying that they are "noise" and that the growling vocals "ruin" the music....for all those who don't enjoy Opeth, I have this to say...

"Some people just don't get it."

Cool? For sure, because YOU get it. :-)

yeah, everyones favourite of that album changes, i used to like Leper affinity, then BWP, then Bleak, then....... all i say is wow when i listen to it now.

I think its cos of the different song structures, but I've stopped listening to BWP that much now. I know it all, whereas all the other albums lasted a lot longer. I mean I still listen to MAYH regularly and I got it 2 years ago. I don't know what that has to do with the above quote but hey
