Hi
Yesterday i did many octave divebombs and i developed a small 2 square milimeters blister (kind with liquid inside).

Will it heal without doing anything or should i at least puncture it to let the liquid out.

This is the smallest blister i ever had, all previous (not from playing guitar) were much bigger and i always had to rip them open for them to dry, coagulate and heal.

So what should i do ?

Got a bunch of replies on a more crowded forum.

em, so???

anyway if the blisters are too small do nothing, but if you do break them, disinfect them properly, and after a couple of days check them for liquid, if they still have some, break the again. what more info do you want?

don't pop the blisters. if you don't pop them, then calluses form, and thats good for guitar playing.

the Flea technique.....pop, stick in some superglue, then tape it up.

Not sure of the toxicity of the glue (it was originally invented for wound treatments in WWII) but that's what he does....

I was referring to the blisters being caused by STD's..... hence fabz's reference to "the other hand" (good line btw!):heh: :heh:

Oh i see.

all previous (not from playing guitar) were much bigger

Those previous blisters were mostly caused by lifting very heavy barbells at the gym.

The biggest one was from holding 660 lbs for time (forearm muscle strength training).
