Listened to Remission and Leviathan and wondered "Why do people like these guys?"

I wouldn't go that far and this album does get inconsistent in places, but when was the last time you heard an album with any relation to -core where every song actually sounds different (the horror!). For that alone Blood Mountain deserves my respect, although most of it crushes and while it doesn't have anything as towering as Hearts Alive, Sleeping Giant comes very close...live the epic vibe on that one.
