Bloodbath at PARTYSAN 2008!!

Cool...Bolt Thrower and Legion Of The Damned will be there as well...sucks that i live so far away =/

i'm pretty pumped to see bloodbath and obituary.
fuck, and facebreaker is gonna slay man!

Unanimated and Bloodbath @ Party San and I'm already going to Wacken, which is the weekend before Party San.. I wasn't at Wacken when Bloodbath played there in 2005, so basically I HAVE TO go to Party San, I shouldn't miss Bloodbath again and I definitely don't wanna miss the first ever European (mainland) gig of Unanimated, my poor poor bank account... And then I haven't even mentioned Hellfest which most definitely has the best festival line-up ever.. :/

I'm glad that it isn't Wacken. You have to know that in meantime Wacken's reputation isn't the best one in Germany, because in the last 10 years it evolved to a big sellout-metal-funfair where only cash is the intention for doing this festival.
In opposition to that the Party.San Open Air owns still the underground-intention where fans organize a festival for fans. This festival has also big dimensions and has enormously grown in the last 10 years, but it has still the underground-attitude (just look at the fair price of 39 Euro and all the Undergroundbands) which I and many other Germans prefer.
Just read the news for the Wacken-Poll and all the discussions on the Bolt Thrower-Page and maybe you will understand what I mean (http://www.boltthrower.com/news/news.php).

Im very, very happy to see Bloodbath on such a festival :)

I second that

I've only been to Europe once, all the way from Australia too, and that was in 2005 and I got to see Bloodbath at Wacken!

Now I've planned a trip to Europe again for this year, and now I get to see Bloodbath yet again! Life doesn't get much better sometimes! :D

I think I'm going to this one.. the question is transportation. Any germans or something who has an idea how I can get there?

the closest (international) airports seem to be Frankfurt, Leipzig, Nürnberg, Dresden or Berlin. None of them that close to the festival though...
Check Ryan Air, German Wings, Air Berlin
If anyone's flying to Berlin, I can pick you up and take you to Party.San
It's about 300km from Berlin.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you need any help!
Hope to see many forum people (especially melloboaters) there!!!

Flying to Berlin seems hilariously expensive everywhere I've checked it out so I dont know if I'll be able to go.. I really want to. Too bad the foreign flights don't land in Erfurt. That would solve all my problems really :( Also the swedish festival bus companies seems to complete ignore this festival. I'm gonna look for alternative solutions and hope it works out

I'm driving from England especially to see Bloodbath, it sucks I don't know any German though.
