Calling motorcyclists

I drive with my black Yamaha RD125cc. Top speed over 180km/h:headbang:
I thinking to buy next summer an Harley...:p
I got my first "bike" when I was 7 years old and since then I've been an "motorbike maniac"..

How much would your bike or a newer model cost if I bought one now, Sydo? Looks rather good, I must say. Much better than my old thing!

Oh yeah, in this booklet thingo I picked up, it says you can park your bike just about anywhere other than in the middle of a freeway or a swimming pool. Realistically, where exactly can you park a bike?

A used Virago like mine go for about $3500 to $5500, it all really depends on age and condition. Keeping that in mind, I got mine for $3k and it's in near perfect condition!
I think they sell for about $8000 new.

As for parking, I'm not real sure. I park mine basically wherever I please, but often feel guilty in doing so. I should look that up 'eh, before I get a ticket..

I've been watching that one myself. So far I've never seen any good bike reach their reserve on Ebay.

It's probably worth around $4500.

So is the reserve hidden from the prospective buyer's view? I'm pretty new to this ebay stuff.

Sweet, parking is one of the real advantages of having a bike. I can't wait to ride one in Melb. Hmmm I can't really afford anything over $3000 though, as I also need to buy a car.

I got my learners when I was back home very briefly in June. The practical test wasn't too bad at all. Will the test for my Ps be much harder?

$3000 should be ok.

Haha I can ride, but wouldn't want to have to balance myself on the bike through 4km of witches' hats or anything like that. :)

Ah good to hear. :)

Sorry to keep bugging you guys. I just can't let this thread go. :) I keep thinking of new questions I want to ask you. If I had a mate in Melb who rode bikes I could get all this done in one simple conversation!

Anyway, for $3000 or so, which bikes should I start looking at? I want to research the market a bit before I get home, so I can buy a bike pretty quickly. I paid too much for my bike here because I didn't know shit at the time, and I don't want to make the same mistake in Melb!
