What's the most annoying thing anyone's said or done to you today?

I had to repeat myself three times to a guy who rang up to make a report.

I met a bald, tattooed guy in a leather jacket on Wentworth Falls station who was asking about my Enforce shirt and where the gigs are in the mountains. He was pretty interesting.

"The Enforcer" was on the other night. That was pretty good, except for the bad 70s porn-style incidental music during the chase scene.

I can't remember the last time I read a book. Probably "Stupid White Men" by Michael Moore.

What made you laugh the most today?

"Double Whammy" by Carl Hiaasen, specifically a scene where a guy tries to break into a trailer with a screwdriver, but gets attacked by a pit bull. The dog latches onto this arm, so the guy stabs the dog with the screwdriver. Dog dies with the guy's arm in its vice-like grip. Hilarity ensues.

What were you dreading about today?

Going to work.

What's the most annoying thing anyone's said or done to you today?

Erm... dunno. Had a surprisingly annoyance-free day today, as far as I can recall.

Nup, just the same people.

Soldier of Fortune by Deep Purple. I've pretty much decided that it would have made a killer Australian Idol audition song. Maybe next year, if I'm not too old.

Erm... I don't even make my own bed.

When was the last time you had a good cry?

October, 1989, when I was diagnosed with German measles. Nobody bothered telling me that it wasn't a terminal disease like I thought it was until later.

What was the last good movie you saw?

I haven't been to the movies since Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban, so that. I've gone from seeing two movies a weekend to barely one movie a month. Crikey.

"No Second Chance" by Harlan Coben. Excellent book.

I'm sure I had a chuckle at something but I can't remember. Oh my friend nicole's crazyness on msn.

What were you dreading about today?

Going to work I guess. I'm over the place, and I'm supposed to sign my employment contract tonight for the new company that's taking over and wants to keep me on. I suppose it's better than being unemployed or having to go and start again at a new site.

What's the most annoying thing anyone's said or done to you today?

Probably when I start talking to my mother about the situation at work and she changes the subject to how well my sister is doing and how nice her new flat is.

One of the consultants at work sent me a snotty little letter to point out to me personally that I'd made a mistake somewhere, instead of just forwarding the bugrep to the data team like they're meant to. Bitch.

The last *good* cry, by which I take to mean one where I felt better afterwards than before...a couple of weeks ago. It was for no particular reason, but I had a very good friend there to give me a hug anyway.

I don't keep up with movie culture as much as I possibly should. The last movie I sat down and actually watched all the way through was Shrek I, which was on TV a little while back.
