I like three Quicksand songs ( ); "Backward", "Divorce" and "Thorn In My Side". They're all mid-tempo, pumping hardcore-ish.

Supposedly a big influence on Tool, depending on who you're talking to really. I can hear it but I think both bands formed at a similar time, so it's hard to call for certain. Anyway, "Slip" is pretty much an essential album for that type of thing.
